Workspaces

Creating flexible views of your data

Overview

Workspaces allow you to create flexible views of your data. Multiple workspaces can be configured per application, each with a different purpose. For example, one view can focus on records ingested over time and another can focus on the content of those records. This is helpful so you're not looking at an overwhelming amount of data at a time.

Workspaces are global within each application. This means that you can create a workspace and then send it to your teammate using the link at the top.

Data Panel

To view the raw data logged to Gantry, expand the data panel. Clicking on a record (a single row) will open a detailed view of that single record.

Tiles

A tile is one representation of certain data. When creating a tile, we can specify an X and Y axis depending on the insight we're after. The data we're visualizing can be any of the columns representing a record, and choosing a facet for the record allows us to group it.

Queries

Modifying the query at the top of the page limits the data viewable in tiles. Two queries can be added for easy comparison of data. Adding a second query will put two lines on each graph.
