Visualize your data in the Gantry dashboard#
Now that you’ve ingested data into Gantry, let’s understand how your data is visually represented.

The Gantry Dashboard#
Let’s navigate to your Gantry Dashboard to begin.
This Dashboard summary page provides an overview of metrics, events, and triggered alerts by application.
Each application will have a simple chart that denotes the quantity of data that has been ingested for it and when that data was ingested.
NOTE: The default data time window that is retrieved is set for 1 day across all applications.

Application Detail#
Each application also has a chart that denotes the quantity of data ingested for it and the time it was last updated.
Data Selection#
Following the top header information, we provide you a way to decide how you want to view the data as it pertains to this application. These are handled with the following control types:
View - Saved set of filters & time interval
Time - A specified time window of data to display
Version - A labeled instance for a data set
Data Environment - A labeled data source (ie. dev, staging, prod, etc)
Filters - Specified sub sets of data criteria to view
Compare With - Compare current data view with a saved view

Sections#
The application detail is split into different sections to help separate informational content around the ingested data. For each section, the data and charts are based on the currently set time window. You’ll get relevant information in the following sections:
Timeline - A summation of data ingested for a specific feature
Distribution - Metrics and distributions on ingested data
Data - Raw Data on an application
